The requirements for passport application include preparing an electronic identity card (KTP elektronik), family card (kartu keluarga), and supported by an original and a photocopy of birth certificate/marriage certificate/diploma. For the replacement of passports issued in 2009 and later, it is sufficient to bring the electronic identity card and the old passport (not applicable for passports that are lost, damaged, or issued by KBRI).

 

If the applicant has not obtained an electronic identity card (KTP-El), it can be replaced with either a substitute certificate or a letter of recommendation from the local civil registry office.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may experience. Passport issuance encompasses both service and law enforcement aspects. If, during the process, there are indications that the purpose of the passport application does not align with the information provided during the interview, officials may request additional documents beyond the stated requirements to enhance the applicant's information.

The current fees for passport processing are as follows:

  1. Rp350,000 for a regular passport with 48 pages, and
  2. Rp650,000 for an electronic regular passport (e-passport) with 48 pages.

Applicants can submit applications for a new passport or passport replacement through the M-Passport application available on both the AppStore and Playstore.

For the requirements to process a child's passport, please prepare the electronic identity cards of both parents, family card, birth certificate, marriage certificate, and the parents' passports; include both the original documents and photocopies.

Presently, electronic passport applications can be submitted at 27 immigration offices across Indonesia:

If the passport is lost or damaged, the applicant can visit the nearest immigration office directly, along with a letter of proof of loss issued by the police.
